I woke at 7:30 am to have breakfast at BB Pablo, I had an apple and coffee just to be safe. The apple was perfect, not too juicy or crunchy, shiny red and also quite large. The best I've ever had. The coffee was a little too strong and it made me feel quite queasy.
I set out early to explore. I've found that you can wonder anywhere and see some lovely sites, statues and fountains. I've seen the Trevi Fountain and was amazed. The locals are very friendly and love to help, even when language is a problem. I've found Rome easy to explore, it's a city that allows you to walk everywhere.
I had dinner at De Paolo, near the Vatican, it was exquisite and expected it to be double the price I paid for the level of service I received. Plenty of spots to sit and relax.
The weather is like summer in England, but the locals are wearing winter clothing!
I'm currently waiting for the Vatican Tour to start, I'm very excited!
