Toss away plastic plates and cutlery for breakfast? Environmental disaster. Everything in these places seems to be toss out. Whether it's theft or less cleaning is their concern, what are they thinking!!!
Hit the road and headed for Parry Sound where I had booked the 'Island Queen' sound cruise. It did not disappoint! This is a 3 1/2 hour cruise through the sound. Over 30,000 islands out here. The boat was specially made and it was hard to believe they got it through some very narrow channels through this ancient lake system. Islands loaded with cottages and some substantial homes only accessible by boat. Many set like their own mini resorts with 'pool' water slides, everything for aquatics fun, kayaks, SUP's and many with places for seaplanes! Education on how other people live.
We headed to Huntsville after to meet up with Paul and his family who Hedley had walked part of the Camino with in 2013. Always such a joy to meet Camino family. No words to describe the family, but those who have done the Camino understand.
They took us to their cottage like the ones we had seen in the arvo on the water though this one is land accessible. They cooked us dinner while we enjoyed the view and the sunset. Beautiful people. We are hoping they will join us for a few days on the Trail.
